Golden Gaming to Operate Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas

After acquiring the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino last May, the Morgans Hotel Group, Co. had entered in an agreement with Golden Gaming, Inc.

Golden Gaming Inc. will operate the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on the Vegas Strip, including the general casino management for all the gaming related activities, for the span of two years.

The financial terms are consistent with the Morgans Hotel Group earlier policy and it will be publicly disclosed once a more definite agreement is finalized.

According to the LOI, the Golden Gaming will also have the opportunity to make an equity investment of one hundred million dollars in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on an agreement to be discussed between the Morgans Hotel Group and the Golden Gaming.

Chief Executive W. Edward Scheetz of Morgans Hotel Group said that they are glad that they have reached an agreement with Golden Gaming to serve as the casino operator of Hard Rock.

Scheetz said that they are delighted working with the team of Blake Sartini and they are looking forward to the launching of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino under the MHG leadership.

Golden Gaming is under the leadership of Blake Sartini after purchasing Southwest Gaming Services in 2001. Golden Gaming has more than one thousand three hundred talented team members throughout the Nevada and Colorado casinos.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino offers over six hundred hotel rooms, six hundred fifty slots and ninety table games plus a beach club.
